NexSync Limited ("NexSync", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. It applies to information collected through our website nexsynchq.com, our payment flows, and our client engagements. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and where applicable the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information from third parties

We may receive information from payment processors (such as Paystack) confirming the status of a transaction, and from analytics or hosting providers in the course of operating our services.

02

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

03

Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to perform an engagement we have entered into with you.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate our business, secure our systems, and improve our services, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, and other compliance requirements.
  • Consent: where you have given specific consent, such as for marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
04

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work and to understand how it is used. These may include:

  • Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function (e.g. session, security).
  • Analytics: to understand aggregate usage patterns.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

05

  • Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
06

International Transfers

Some of our service providers may be located outside Nigeria. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on legally recognised mechanisms (such as adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards, or your explicit consent) and ensure that recipients provide an adequate level of protection.

07

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Typical retention periods include:

Once retention periods lapse, we securely delete or anonymise the data.

08

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, and disclosure. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
